Tucano “Stranormale” esce il 5 gennaio il nuovo Ep del rapper romano

  Una raccolta di storie di vita solo apparentemente normali scritte dal Tucano e prodotte da Hey Max.

«La mia paura più grande è ammalarmi di normalità. Adattare i miei sogni, il mio stile di vita, abbandonare le mie idee per scendere a compromessi con il mondo è la cosa che più mi spaventa». È da questa urgenza di Tucano che nasce l’Ep “Stranormale”, breve raccolta di quelle che il rapper romano definisce «cose per me normali ma strane agli occhi degli altri». 

Il progetto nasce dalla necessità esasperare l’inadeguatezza quotidiana che l’artista si sente di provare da sempre, mostrando i pregi e i difetti di un’esistenza vissuta verso l’esagerazione in fuga dalla calma. 

Il producer Hey Max, compagno di banco alle elementari dell’artista, ritrovato quasi per caso a un concerto di Primo Brown, ha collaborato al progetto ricordando gusti, passioni e interessi dell’amico di scuola, caratterizzandolo con atmosfere elettroniche ben distinte tra loro che interpretano i diversi sentimenti. 

Tutto il progetto è stato realizzato durante la quarantena all’interno dei confini di Fidene, il quartiere di Tucano, missato da Niro (produttore dei Sierra Romana (XFactor2020), e masterizzato da Squarta (Cor Veleno) presso il Rugbeats studio.

«La title track si apre con me che invito l’ascoltatore ad entrare nei miei pensieri, palcoscenico di giocolieri, alieni e giovani nomadi in rappresentanza della follia che mi possiede. La canzone ha un linguaggio tragicomico che mi fa apparire come sono realmente, ovvero “senza un euro, senza un neurone”, con i sogni abbandonati, schiacciati dal lavoro da barista, senza una  macchina, senza una donna, senza vestiti di marca, senza i mezzi per essere una persona popolare, ma sempre col fiatone perché non riesco a fermarmi dal fare musica fuori dalle regole di mercato. 

I compromessi a cui si è soggetti per entrare nell’industria discografica mi spingono a fare autoironia sul mio personaggio il cui carattere risulta incompatibile con certe dinamiche e scelte». 

La strumentale elettronica lascia spazio alle due strofe tagliando fuori il ritornello, sostituito da due drop elettronici diversi descrizione di una vita frenetica.

«Nel brano paragono lo stile di vita vissuto dall’autore al mio modo di essere e di fare, fra citazione e riflessioni riguardo alle relazioni, l’alcol, il minimalismo, il menefreghismo, le storie di ordinaria follia, lo scrivere canzoni solo per portare a letto le ragazze, l’insonnia, le soluzioni fallimentari per non impazzire del tutto. Il desiderio è che chi ascolta sia combattuto tra l’idea che io sia solo un pazzo qualsiasi o un genio fallito.

La canzone inizia con una nota audio di Brrradpitt che si rivolge ad altri rapper accusando la loro musica di non essere una novità al contrario di come dicono.

Ad essere raccontati sono i miei viaggi, con riferimenti specifici a situazioni, donne, esperienze, episodi in giro per il mondo. Porto l’ascoltatore con me da una parte all’altra dell’Europa, come se il raccontare le mie avventure potesse in qualche modo riportarmi nelle città che ho visitato e in cui ho lasciato una parte di me. 

Soprattutto in questo periodo storico mi rendo conto di quanto viaggiare ci renda liberi anche da barriere mentali, capaci di aumentare la nostra empatia e renderci migliori. Non a caso quello di Flixbus è l’unico visual video a colori per far tornare la speranza di un qualcosa di buono».

“Ci pensa il vento” è il terzo singolo estratto dall’EP di GiusiPre  “Canzoni indigeste”, pubblicato ad ottobre 2020. Il brano, fortemente influenzato da sonorità anni ’90, rivela il lato malinconico della cantautrice: il testo è  intriso di una scrittura più intima e affronta i temi del ricordo e del tempo che passa, oscillando tra malinconia e realismo, tra bisogno di amore e orgoglio. 

Le immagini evocate dall’autrice restano sospese in un’atmosfera musicale eterea e sognante, dove la voce di GiusiPre risuona triste e malinconica, con il piano e la chitarra che si intrecciano e compongono il vero tappeto sonoro, cullando con cura chi ascolta.

Il singolo autoprodotto, ha visto la collaborazione per la composizione e gli arrangiamenti, del polistrumentista Daniele Giuili e del produttore e fonico Nicola D’Amati, con registrazione e post-produzione presso il Merlo Studio di Roma (2020). La masterizzazione è di Eugenio Vatta.

 

L’EP “Canzoni indigeste” è un viaggio tra le passioni musicali dell’autrice: si spazia dalle suggestioni anni ’80 al punk e al post-punk, fino a toccare il trip hop anni ’90, misurando e rielaborando il tutto con uno spruzzo di contemporaneità.

Giuseppina Prejanò, in arte GiusiPre, classe 1985, calabrese d’origine trapiantata a Roma, dopo un periodo dedicato alla formazione filosofica, decide di ridare spazio alla musica, tra un lavoro precario e un altro. Gli studi di canto e l’esperienza come voce, autrice e chitarra per i “Loiola”, la portano ad intraprendere un percorso solista, inaugurato con la pubblicazione del primo singolo “Caos contemporaneo” che ha anticipato l’ep “Canzoni indigeste”, pubblicato nell’autunno 2020.

Alberto “Caramella” Foà “Basta unire i puntini” il nuovo singolo del cantautore che darà il titolo all’album in uscita il 20 marzo 2021

  Una ballad sognante che attinge al patrimonio cantautorale italiano, racconta per immagini le scelte di un uomo e ne disegna il percorso di vita

"Basta unire i puntini" è il nuovo singolo di Alberto "Caramella" Foà ed è anche la canzone che darà il titolo all'album, in uscita il 20 marzo 2021.

Più di una canzone il brano diventa quasi una narrazione (e al tempo stesso una spiegazione) di un percorso e delle scelte che lo hanno delineato, ma anche di incontri, accadimenti, ricordi, immagini, amori e soprattutto emozioni che vanno via via a tratteggiare l'intensità della vita stessa. Perché in fondo la vita di tutti è sempre in divenire e dipende da ciò che, vivendo, scopriamo. Una confessione d'autore che permette a chi ascolta di essere coinvolto e travolto dalla forza delle parole, arricchite dalla musica suadente e incisiva, composta e arrangiata dal Maestro Massimo Germini, da oltre 20 anni chitarrista del professor Vecchioni e compagno d'arte, avventura e amicizia di Alberto, che di Vecchioni è allievo ispirato. Nel testo di "Basta unire i puntini" anche il contributo di Elisa Alloro, mentre al produttore Lele Battista e al suo studio "Le Ombre" di Milano va il merito di aver costruito un suono originale e schietto.

Come il brano, così anche il video di "Basta unire i puntini" ha preso «la forma antica, meravigliata e meravigliante della fiaba» come racconta lo stesso Alberto “Caramella” Foa, resa con la tecnica originale dei disegni di sabbia realizzati da Nadia Ischia, che ha valorizzato al meglio lo storyboard dell'autore dedicato proprio ad alcune delle sue passioni più accese: i cavalli, le stelle, l'andare contro corrente, i sogni e la musica.

Alberto "Caramella" Foà nasce a Milano l'11 marzo 1964, affamato di vita e emozioni fin da bambino, innamorato da sempre dei cavalli e con il sogno irraggiungibile di diventare il miglior fantino del mondo. In compenso, grazie prima agli studi classici ed umanistici, poi da appassionato di libri e scrittura, riesce a diventare giornalista (di economia e finanza ma anche sportivo), manager di spettacolo, scrittore, sceneggiatore, autore, paroliere ed allenatore/psicologo, appunto, di cavalli. Con una frase che ama ripetere spiega: «Di lavoro, faccio tutte quelle cose che sono sempre meglio che lavorare» e, siccome sono contorno e realizzazione di alcune delle sue grandi passioni, nel farle riesce a infondere un entusiasmo ed un'empatia peculiari. Come è caratteristico il suo stile di scrittura, tagliente ed incisivo quando si tratta di inchieste e notizie, un po' poeta, a tratti romantico e in altri disincantato, quando a uscire dalla penna sono i testi delle canzoni. 

La carriera d'autore lo porta, dai 17 anni, a scrivere per altri, entrando, giovanissimo in Ricordi e in quasi 40 anni, firma e scrive moltissimi brani per altri interpreti. A cantare non ci ha proprio pensato, nemmeno quando i dischi si vendevano ancora. Poi, un po' per gioco e molto per contribuire a un progetto benefico a favore dei terremotati delle Marche, ha accettato di incidere "Dopo la fine del mondo", due anni fa. Ma solo durante il primo lockdown di quest'anno, complici la situazione emotiva e il tempo passato da solo, con la compagnia virtuale del musicista Massimo Germini, connesso da casa propria a comporre canzoni, cede alle pressioni dell'editore e dell'etichetta e scrive il suo primo album. Anticipato da due singoli: a fine agosto "Nocciola (il colore degli occhi)" e dal 22 dicembre "Basta unire i puntini"...

“Improvviserai” nasce da un dialogo con sé stessi in una di quelle giornate, l’una uguale all’altra, trascorse durante il primo lockdown: a casa, con tanto tempo a disposizione per sistemare pensieri e obiettivi, ma senza la forza di farlo concretamente, mentre frigorifero e tv diventano tentazioni irrinunciabili al pari del continuo scrollare sullo smartphone, inseguendo i trend social. 

Un connubio fra solitudine e voglia di evadere che porta Lak a imbracciare la chitarra e scrivere seguendo il flusso dei pensieri. 

«Dovresti utilizzare quel tempo per raggiungere nuovi obiettivi e migliorarti, ma giri e rigiri per casa pensando a quale possa essere l’idea del secolo o il futuro perfetto, o peggio, cosa avresti potuto evitare e ciò che vorresti cambiare, anche soltanto un po’. Prendo l’acustica, parlo da solo e mi autocritico come ogni volta! E’ più forte di me, la voglia di scappare e andare via di qua.. E non importa dove, come o con chi, così nasce la mia canzone». Lak

Luca Ammazzini - in arte Lak - nasce a Bra (CN) il 1 Dicembre 1993. Fin dalla giovane età sviluppa una passione per la musica tanto che, non appena regalatagli la sua prima chitarra, decide di iscriversi all’indirizzo musicale nella scuola media di appartenenza.

Qui impara le basi dello strumento, della musica classica e l’emozione del suonare su un palco e davanti ad altre persone, un mondo che lo affascina fin da subito.

A 14 anni inizia a scrivere i suoi primi testi, improvvisando accordi studiati da autodidatta ed influenzato da artisti come Max Pezzali, Edoardo Bennato, Alex Britti ed altri giganti del panorama pop.
