GEDDO “Come un pazzo” è il nuovo brano estratto dal disco “Fratelli”

 Un rock euforico che ospita la voce di Lorena De Nardi e la tromba di Raffaele Kholer

Il sound rock poderoso esalta l’euforia del prevalere della pazzia sulla ragione, diventando una sorta di inno all’irrazionalità, in cui il protagonista vede il solito mondo banale e immobile con gli occhi della follia dell’innamoramento. Come per gli altri brani di “Fratelli”, anche questo prevede la presenza di due ospiti musicali: la cantante Lorena De Nardi e il trombettista Raffaele Kholer.  

Il disco “Fratelli”, da cui il brano è estratto, vuole essere una risposta all’odio e alla frustrazione dei nostri giorni. Un album positivo che invita ad essere consapevoli delle tante piccole cose e delle grandi persone che ci circondano nel quotidiano. Miti positivi che non devono essere cercati in mitologie superate di grandi personaggi lontani, ma riconosciuti nelle comunità che viviamo, nei lavoratori e nei suoi artisti. 

Il disco è stato registrato all’Actone recording studio di Albenga con la collaborazione di Matteo Ferrando alla batteria, Dario La Forgia al basso e Mauro Vero alle chitarre. Altri musicisti coinvolti sono invece: Fabio Biale, Paolo Bonfanti, Roberta Carrieri, Sergio Cocchi, Lorena De Nardi, Nico Ghilino, Folco Orselli, Michele Savino, Federico Sirianni, Rossano Villa, Alberto Visconti.

Geddo, è un cantautore di Albenga. Dopo Fuori dal comune (2010), Non sono mai stato qui (2014) e Alieni (2016), arriva oggi Fratelli, un disco positivo che va alla ricerca di somiglianze e affinità che rendano tutti complici e compagni. Il primo singolo estratto è Parlandone da vivo, in radio da metà maggio 2020. 

L’artista fa parte del roster della Ph.d management. Le sue canzoni sono state utilizzate per spettacoli teatrali e hanno viaggiato senza sosta in questi anni tra la Puglia e la Val d'Aosta, raggiungendo un vasto ed eterogeneo pubblico. Ha aperto il concerto di Daniele Silvestri e vanta collaborazioni con artisti del calibro di Claudia Pastorino, L'Orage e Zibba.

 Scoperta a Singapore dalla label The Kennel AB, la giovane artista porta anche in Italia il suo pop energico e vibrante. 

 

“Doorbell” sta già conquistando l’Asia. Prodotto dalla prestigiosa etichetta e casa di produzione svedese The Kennel AB (Celine Dion, The Scorpions, BTS, Pussycat Dolls, The Sam Willows) è stato pubblicato da poche settimane su licenza di importanti label in diversi Paesi, tra cui la Universal Music Group in Malesia e India. 

La storia di Matilde G è quella della scoperta di un talento. Trasferitasi dall’Italia a Singapore, la giovane cantante e compositrice ha potuto farsi notare, posizionandosi anche sul podio del Singapore’s Got Talent. La sua voce e il suo talento pop, le hanno permesso di attirare l’attenzione della label svedese e firmare il suo primo contratto discografico. 

“Doorbell” racconta, senza ipocrisie, la voglia di divertirsi e godere delle cose belle della vita con leggerezza. «In questi giorni assurdi e di incertezza l’unico modo di andare avanti è prendere la parte buona della vita e cercare di vivere con allegria le gioie che ci riserva senza preoccuparsi di falsi moralismi e del giudizio degli altri» dichiara Matilde G.

Le canzoni di Matilde G passano dallo stile ballad melodico, all’elettro-pop e synth-pop. Raccontano tematiche della sua vita giovanile: una relazione a distanza dopo il trasferimento a Singapore (The Distance 2019), un amore complicato che non funziona (In My Mind 2020), la sua voglia di diventare una pop star (Cup Of Tea 2020) il sentirsi diversa da come la famiglia la vorrebbe (Sorry Wrong Person 2020) il voler assaporare con leggerezza i piaceri della vita (Doorbell 2021).

Matilde G, nome d’arte di Matilde Girasole, è una cantante, compositrice, autrice e musicista.

Nata a Roma con la passione per la musica, ha studiato canto fin da piccola con i migliori vocal coach italiani, tra cui il maestro Marco Vito (Amici, The Voice of Italy, Ti Lascio Una Canzone) ed è stata sul podio di importanti festival nazionali, tra cui il Tour Music Fest e il VideoFestivalLive. 

Italiane le sue prime produzioni musicali, curate da professionisti del calibro di Andrea Casamento (Maestro della Prova del Cuoco) Steve Luchi (ammirato batterista e produttore di vari artisti tra cui  J-Ax e Irene Grandi) e Roberto Vernetti (vocal coach XFactor e producer per Malika Ayane tra gli altri).

Nel 2019 si è trasferita a Singapore, dove si è fatta subito conoscere cantando nei locali della città e posando come modella per fotografi asiatici. Inoltre, si è posizionata sul podio al Singapore’s Got Talent, al KWC Singapore e al concorso mondiale ISing World Junior.

Un talento riconosciuto che Matilde G ha supportato con lo studio del canto (8th grade Trinity College), pianoforte (5th grade Trinity College), teoria musicale (5th grade ABRSM). Suona anche la chitarra e ha competenze di tecnologia musicale e composizione.

Alla fine del 2020 è stata notata dall’etichetta svedese The Kennel AB che negli ultimi dieci anni ha prodotto più di 100 canzoni che sono arrivate #1 nelle chart hits internazionali. In  questo modo la  giovanissima Matilde G ha firmato il suo primo contratto discografico e si è posta sotto la sapiente guida del managing director per l’Asia Julius Ng, veterano dell’industria discografica (già managing director di Sony Music Asia).

When the bowling game, the song, or the movie ends you will abruptly return to reality. You will probably want to retreat back to the safe place. Do not do it. The safe place exists only as a helping hand, not as a solution to your life's problems, may it be a small or big. It serves only as an escape route.

You will return from your safe zone with an increased energy level. You will feel better about yourself and gain more confidence. You will see that any issue can be resolved.

This is how a small escape from a harsh reality can increase your emotional and mental health. Try to do this often and you are on your way to better self improvement.

Francesca Madeo, in arte Ysé, nasce il 20 settembre 1997 a Sassuolo. La musica è da sempre una passione di famiglia: il padre, di origini calabresi, ha lavorato da giovanissimo come radiofonico nel territorio ionico e modenese, ed il fratello maggiore è un dj molto conosciuto nei locali della zona. Fino all’età di 14 anni Francesca ha studiato danza classica e moderna, lasciando sempre uno spazio di piacere per il canto. Lasciata la danza, ha preso lezioni di chitarra e canto, coltivando insieme alla passione per la musica il suo grande amore per le lingue e i viaggi. Infatti, seppur giovanissima, lo studio e il lavoro nel mondo delle lingue straniere l’hanno portata a intraprendere diversi soggiorni in Francia e Regno Unito. Da queste esperienze deriva il groove estremamente contaminato e internazionale che contraddistingue la musica e l’anima dell’artista, e proprio da esso trova radici anche il nome Ysé, dal francese, lingua particolarmente amata dalla cantautrice e che ritroviamo ricorrente nei suoi brani, insieme all’inglese. 

Francesca si è laureata in lingue e letterature straniere nell’estate 2019 all’università di Parma, e prosegue attualmente il suo ultimo anno di studi per il conseguimento della laurea magistrale in Language Society and Communication presso l’università di Bologna.
