Tests are conducted so as to determine what customer thinks about a brand or a product and it is specifically known as brand name testing. The demand of a product can be understood by demand estimation. After the demand of the product is taken care of, the quality should be checked from time to time. Appointing mystery shoppers who is usually an employee of the market research firm does this. He buys goods through a salesperson and notes down the whole experience. This procedure can be used to do research about rival companies’ products.

Before practical application of a concept, concept testing should be done which tells whether the targeted audience will like the idea or not. Test marketing is done by introducing a product in small numbers in the market and observing the sales, after which the product is launched on a large-scale. After the initial phase, when the company thinks of increasing the price of the product, price elasticity testing should be carried out which shows customer reaction to price fluctuations. Distribution channel audits are conducted to understand the attitudes of retailers and distributors towards specific products and brands.

The more tech savvy form of marketing research is Internet strategic intelligence. The likes and dislikes of the customers can be directly known with the help of chats, blogs and forums. Online panels are a group of experts who accept the marketing research done online.

All the researches that are carried out can be classified as primary research, which gathers original research, and secondary research, which is based on a primary research and information published by other resources. Secondary research costs less as research is done on already researched data, but the result isn’t efficient.

The research designs used by marketing research are either based on questioning or are based on observations. Quantitative marketing research and qualitative marketing research are based on questioning. Quantitative marketing research is done to derive conclusions like questionnaires forms and survey. The number of respondents involved is high. Qualitative marketing research is done to understand something like in-depth interviews and projective techniques.

Some webmasters try to use articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and make some money. This is mostly important for those who have just begun working as an affiliate for several companies and do not yet have any funding, yet need to built small niche websites to visitors to their site so that they can begin making revenue.

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your website or revenue. There are a few potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.

Problem #1 - Search Engines

Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other sites. The more sites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.

Good search engine rankings are essential in getting visitors to your sit so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links. If you cannot even get visitors, then will never make an revenue. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 - Getting visitors to click

Although getting your site high on search engine result pages and acquiring site visitors is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You must also be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links. If your visitors see the same content they have seen on a multitude of other sites, they will be least likely to click on your links. This is because most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or whom they feel like are an expert on the subject.

If your content is just duplicated from other sites, you will be exposed as someone who does not really know what they are talking about and therefore will not look heavily on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of website visitors who will be willing to click through.

Problem #3 - Author Bylines

Most free content is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you can get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author bylines include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will click on the author’s byline link rather than your affiliate links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing possible profitable website visitors.

Once you put these three problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue simply because you used free website content from article directories. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own original content, then you should go this route. If you don’t have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

Gli SOS Save Our Souls nascono nel ’93 da un’idea di Bruco (Marco Ferri), voce ed autore, a cui si uniscono inizialmente Milly Fanzaga alla batteria, Marco Manai al basso, Simone Trevisan alla chitarra ed Alex Monetti alle tastiere. Dopo alcuni mesi iniziano una intensa attività live in tutta l’Italia, partecipando ad importanti manifestazioni e rassegne come il Rock Café Live dove si sono esibiscono assieme ad artisti quali Ligabue, E.Finardi, Rats, Timoria, etc. Nello stesso anno vincono la più importante rassegna nazionale dedicata ai gruppi emergenti: Rock Targato Italia.  A luglio del ’94 presentano, con una formazione senza tastiere, il loro primo album “De sang Froid”, all’ Idroscalo di Milano, assieme a Negrita, Massimo Volume, Modena City Ramblers e la serata viene trasmessa in diretta da Rete 105 (Marco Galli). 

Ad ottobre partecipano alla manifestazione Casa Telethon assieme al cantautore Daniele Silvestri. Nello stesso anno registrano l’album “Negli Occhi”. Nel ’96 si conclude la lunga serie di concerti (174) di promozione che raggiunge le 5.000 copie di vendita. Tra il ’96 ed il ’97 si aggiunge al gruppo il chitarrista Cristian Rocco e prosegue l’intensa attività di concerti. Nel ’97 esce il mini-album “Non mi fermare”. 

In questi anni gli SOS diventano una sorta di “bottega artigiana” per diversi musicisti sia in studio che dal vivo. Tra loro c’è il batterista Stefano Guidi. Nel febbraio 2000 viene raggiunta la finale a 8 gruppi di Sanremo Rock 2000. Negli anni seguenti prosegue l’attività live sino al 2003, anno in cui scompare prematuramente il bassista Marco Manai, coautore di molti brani del repertorio SOS tra cui “Cuore”, “Ancora un’ora”, “Almodovar”, ecc.  Nel 2015 viene rimasterizzato e ristampato l’album “Negli occhi” sia in formato CD che in Vinile. Nel corso dello stesso anno riprende l’attività live con una serie di concerti che portano la band sino in Cina e precisamente a Shanghai in occasione della fiera Music China. 

Il Tour termina nel 2016 con un concerto al Teatro Filodrammatici di Treviglio (BG). Nel 2017 dopo alcuni concerti Bruco e Cristian Rocco decidono di lavorare alla pre produzione di nuovi brani, alla band si aggiungono Stefano Guidi alla batteria e Mauro Guidi al basso e. Nel dicembre 2017 il brano “Presidente”, appare nella compilation prodotta e distribuita da NDS Music in allegato al mensile Tribuna Magazine. 

Nel novembre 2018 tornano in studio per registrare un nuovo singolo “Ancora Vivere” presentato in anteprima il 5 dicembre 2018 al Teatro Brancaccio di Roma, in occasione dell’evento SLE18 organizzato da Italia Loves Sicurezza e Fondazione LHS. Il 12 marzo 2019 Bruco e Cristian Rocco si esibiscono in acustico a Palazzo Vecchio a Firenze per l’evento “Emozione forte non vuol dire morte”. A marzo – aprile 2019 registrano in studio con Il fonico Dario Ravelli, i brani che andranno a comporre il nuovo album “Esse o Esse”, pubblicato il 19 giugno. Il 9 maggio 2019 si esibiscono presso l’auditorium dell’ASI (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) come ospiti dell’evento “Uno spazio tra salute e sicurezza” con in platea 300 ragazzi delle scuole superiori di Roma.

Balu “Ancora” prod. Yanghi è il nuovo singolo del giovane rapper napoletano

Il dialetto napoletano diventa il mezzo attraverso cui prende forma il desiderio di normalità e amore di un ragazzo alle prese con la difficoltà di questo periodo, in un'intensa canzone rap.

Nonostante si stia attraversando un periodo così particolare di chiusura e di paura, l'arte non si ferma e spesso sono i giovanissimi a dare l'input per ripartire.

È il caso del rapper Balu che, proprio in questi giorni di reclusione forzata, ha deciso di pubblicare il suo nuovissimo brano "Ancora". Qui, fin dalle prime strofe, sembrerebbe delinearsi proprio quel sentimento che la maggior parte della popolazione mondiale sta vivendo in questi giorni. Si parla del tempo che non scorre e di quello che manca, ma poi si va oltre, avvicinandosi al vero tema della canzone: l’amore. Un amore tormentato in cui il protagonista vorrebbe dimenticare la persona amata, non riuscendoci.

Questo sentimento si traduce nelle rime cantate in napoletano da un giovane artista con il suo stile personalissimo, contemporaneo, mai troppo “arrabbiato” - come spesso capita nel rap -, ma comunque ugualmente penetrante.

Ugo Pollio in arte Balu, nasce a Napoli, nel ‘96. Fin da piccolo ha sempre avuto una passione per l’arte in generale e per la scrittura, infatti fin dai primi anni di scuola si è cimentato a comporre poesie, scrivere per lui è sempre significato libertà. A soli 17 anni ha iniziato a pubblicare i primi brani sotto il nome di “Doubleup” ma dopo neanche un anno, insoddisfatto, ha deciso di abbandonare momentaneamente la musica. Un lungo periodo di stop fino a quando si è convinto di poterci riprovare, grazie al consiglio del suo amico “Francesco key B”. Inizia così tutto da capo, stavolta col nome Balu (in riferimento al famoso orso “Baloo” del cartone Disney “Il libro della giungla”, perché a differenza degli altri artisti, non si rispecchia nella figura del rapper di strada, ma vuole dimostrare che si può fare musica anche essendo buoni e “paciocconi”).

Nel febbraio 2019 pubblica su YouTube il primo singolo “Vorrei dimenticare”, ad aprile dello stesso anno pubblica “Matador” e pochi mesi dopo ancora “Festa” feat Gianluca Sacco.

Nel 2020, per l’etichetta Jesce Sole, esce il nuovo singolo “Ancora” prod Yanghi, disponibile su tutti i digital store.

Stona “Io sono Marco” è il toccante brano sull’autismo arrivato in finale al concorso “Primo Maggio NEXT 2020”

Il singolo scritto dal cantautore piemontese e prodotto dal Maestro Guido Guglielminetti, anticipa un nuovo progetto discografico in uscita nel 2021. 

Marco è un personaggio di fantasia, un bambino di 10 anni, affetto da quel disturbo invisibile chiamato autismo.

«Mi sono avvicinato sempre di più a questo tema dopo aver seguito nel tempo la storia di Franco e Andrea Antonello, padre e figlio che hanno coraggiosamente portato nelle nostre case la loro storia e ci hanno aperto quella porta che dà sul mondo dell’autismo. Ho cercato di informarmi il più possibile per capire cosa si nasconde dietro questa malattia, se è una malattia. Perché da una malattia nella maggior parte dei casi si può guarire; qui no, non si torna indietro mai. Ho conosciuto altre storie, meno famose, meno sotto i riflettori, e da qui è nata questa canzone e Marco ha preso forma». STONA

Marco vive nel proprio universo, dove ogni colore ha un significato ben preciso: Il rosso la rabbia, il blu/bianco la tranquillità, il verde la curiosità. Emozioni che difficilmente riesce a tradurre in gesti e parole. L’esclusione sociale lo porta a essere vittima di bullismo, ma non esiste una vera via di fuga. Non c’è un lieto fine o un vero e proprio finale a questa storia, perché la fine non esiste, il silenzio sarà per sempre con lui e non c’è soluzione. L’unico strumento di reazione resta il coraggio di affrontare la vita come ci è stata donata, con amore.

L’autismo è un luogo solitario, scuro e silenzioso dal quale non si può tornare indietro, ma che può essere reso più confortevole e gestibile dall’aiuto e dal lavoro di educatori, associazioni e istituzioni. Le famiglie colpite da questo problema spesso sono lasciate sole a dover combattere questa guerra silenziosa, gravosa economicamente per le cure da intraprendere, e umanamente debilitante. “Io sono Marco” nasce per dar voce ai loro diritti. 

Questa canzone, prodotta da Guido Guglielminetti (storico bassista e produttore di Francesco De Gregori), ha portato Stona, per il secondo anno di seguito, a gareggiare fra i finalisti del concorso “Primo Maggio NEXT” organizzato dal Concertone del 1° Maggio di Roma.
