Il singolo è estratto dal nuovo album del cantautore e compositore marchigiano, fortemente impegnato sul tema dei diritti umani

La storia di Paola Clemente, bracciante che muore nel 2015 durante l’acinellatura dell’uva, mentre era sui campi a lavorare. Morta di fatica, praticamente infarto. Poteva salvarsi, ma stava lavorando sotto caporale e nessun medico poteva intervenire, a patto di far scoprire l’illegalità di tutta l’organizzazione.

Nel brano è lei a parlare in prima persona. Il ritornello è una sorte di koinè pugliese con prevalenza di dialetto tarantino (morì a San Giorgio Ionico). La protagonista pronuncia le parole di un canto di ribellione di fine ‘800. “Il sole sta calando, sta calando, chiama il padrone che me ne vado”. Nella versione originale l’affermazione era ironica e sottolineava l’assenza del padrone al calar del sole, perché in quel momento era tenuto a pagare. Qui prende, invece, il significato di «chiama il padrone che me ne vado per sempre e voglio che veda che cosa ha creato». Il limbo di questo personaggio è proprio nel ritornello, in quei pochi secondi che sono il pensiero della protagonista prima di morire. Il limbo in cui pensa ai suoi figli e all’ingiustizia che tanti come lei patiranno.

Il brano è estratto dal nuovo album di inediti “Non torno a casa da tre giorni” la cui uscita è prevista per il prossimo 18 novembre. La canzone, infatti, è stata selezionata proprio perché tratta temi legati al festival, il cui focus per questa edizione è la Pace “Im-possibile”.

Artista poliedrico che unisce nella sua arte la composizione, il teatro e la letteratura.

Lucio Matricardi è originario di Porto San Giorgio, in provincia di Fermo e inizia a studiare pianoforte all’età di 4 anni. Dopo un lungo periodo di immersione nella musica classica si perfeziona tra gli altri con i maestri: Daniele Di Bonaventura (Bandoneonista di Paolo Fresu), Ramberto Ciammarughi, Greg Burk, Paolo Di Sabatino (collaboratore di Fabio Concato e Mario Biondi). Frequenta i corsi del Saint Louise College di Roma con il maestro Pierpaolo Principato (Direttore della sezione pianoforte) e musica d’insieme con il maestro Giovanni Mazzarino. Frequenta i corsi di perfezionamento in jazz ed improvvisazione con Jeff Ballard e Larry Grenadier (Brad Meldhau Trio). Frequenta i corsi di pianoforte di Phil Markovitz a Roma. (veterano della scena jazzistica internazionale).

Partecipa ad un corso sul cantautorato con Riccardo Sinigallia (Tiro Mancino, Niccolò Fabi, Motta, Coez).

Dal 2005 lavora come compositore per numerose produzioni teatrali e di cortometraggi. Nel 2013 realizza uno spettacolo, “Rimusicanze” in cui riscrive le musiche dei film muti “La Palla n.13” di Buster Keaton e “Charlot Boxer” di Charlie Chaplin. Nel 2008 è co-autore insieme all’attore e regista Mauro Macario di un Recital su Lèo Ferrè e Fabrizio De Andrè realizzato in numerosi teatri italiani.

Nel 2014 partecipa come co-arrangiatore al disco di Antonio Felicioli “Flute Book 1” con lo storico sassofonista italiano Antonio Marangolo (Paolo Conte, Vinicio Capossela, Francesco Guccini).

Nel 2016 esce il suo primo disco “Sogno Protetto”, un’opera cantautorale-musicale che ottiene un ottimo riscontro di critica e di vendita. Promuove il suo lavoro con più di cento concerti in tutte le maggiori piazze del centro Italia.

Ha aperto i concerti di: George Moustaki, Jane Birkin, Juliette Greco, Susan Vega, Paolo Belli Big Band, Alex Britti, Dente, Di Martino, Giovanni Truppi e Mattew Lee. Nel 2019 inizia la collaborazione col regista Alessandro Negrini (Vincitore Golden Movie Award 2019, Malta International film festival 2019, Milano film Festival 2019, miglior regia al Palermo Sole Luna film festival 2019) che scrive e dirige il video della canzone “La Manna Dal Cielo”.

Nel 2022 si esibisce in tour in varie piazze marchigiane (Fermo, Grottammare, Ortezzano, Belmonte) e al “Mugellini Festival” di Potenza Picena, prestigiosa rassegna dei più grandi musicisti classici attuali, con apertura ai compositori moderni. Il 18 novembre è prevista la pubblicazione dell’album “Non torno a casa da tre giorni”.

Dopo tanti anni dedicati soprattutto ai concerti, in Italia e non solo, Michele Fenati torna con un nuovo album di inediti. “Dall’altra parte del mare” vuole raccontare la parte “inedita” del cantautore romagnolo diventando, nei fatti, un album intimo e intimista che si apre alle più diverse sonorità.

Una toccante ballata in cui italiano e dialetto romagnolo si fondono per raccontare la vita e il successo mondiale dell’autore di «Romagna Mia». Fenati, dopo tanti anni di concerti in Italia e in centro Europa, ha pensato più volte al senso profondo di questo brano e con «Il mio nome è Aurelio» vuole rendere omaggio al suo autore.

Mille volte buonanotte

Una ballata pop che racconta, con serenità e realismo, una storia sentimentale. Origine di tutto è un'attrazione “fatale” che, oltre alla passione, scatena dubbi, speranze, paure e illusioni. Uno sguardo, a tratti disincantato, pensa al futuro di questo amore e già ne presagisce gli sviluppi, ponendosi una serie di interrogativi: «Domani il fuoco sarà ancora acceso oppure no?» e ancora, «Chi vincerà nel gioco d’amore e sesso che scatena i sentimenti?».

Brano scritto insieme a Mario Balducci. Pochi strumenti per una canzone d’amore d’autore di forte intensità. Violoncello e sax che si interfacciano insieme alle parole. Una storia d’amore finita, che lascia aperta l’illusione della speranza, «ma rimani ancora mia, nella Fantasia».

Michele Fenati è un artista italiano, conosciuto al grande pubblico per aver tradotto in chiave classica, brani popolari di grande successo, creando una veste originale, attuale e sempre in bilico tra musica colta e musica popolare.

La sua alta professionalità e la capacità di gestire il palco tra canzone, poesia e teatro, lo ha portato in questi anni a solcare tantissimi palchi di grandi, medie e piccole città di tutta Europa. Vienna, Linz, Augsburg, Praga, Klagenfurt, Breslavia… sono solo alcune delle città europee che hanno visto sempre il tutto esaurito. Centinaia di città e piccoli e medi comuni italiani, in piazze e teatri, hanno accolto il concerto di Michele Fenati in questi anni, sempre con formazione voce e chitarra, pianoforte e clavietta, violino e violoncello.

Una carriera descritta in numerosi articoli su quotidiani locali e nazionali e partecipazioni importanti come la diretta su Radio24 - Il sole 24 ore, con quattro brani in diretta nazionale, prima del tour europeo, la partecipazione a “L’Italia in diretta” su Rai 2 oppure a “Buongiorno Regione” su Rai 3.

Nel 2014 riceve la lettera del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana Giorgio Napolitano, prima del tour europeo.

Il suo percorso inizia a 9 anni sul palco del Cantagiro Romagnolo presentato da Maria Giovanna Elmi, la reginetta della TV, proseguito al Conservatorio, dove ha studiato violoncello con il Maestro Lauro Malusi e chitarra e canto con l’insegnante Lina Montanari. In questi anni Fenati ha prodotto cinque album (Girotondo, Sicuro son sicuro, Acustico Live, Battisti in Classics e Live in Europe), una importante collaborazione con l’Associazione Bubulina per la raccolta fondi per i bambini malati di leucemia, fino al concerto “Michele Fenati & Friends” nel 2018, al Teatro Rossini di Lugo di Romagna (Ra).

Ha collaborato con Andrea Mingardi nella conduzione della trasmissione “Cuore Rossoblu”, tutte le domeniche in diretta su Radio Bruno dallo stadio Dallara, fino allo spettacolo/concerto, nel 2020, a Villa Cacciaguerra Ortolani di Voltana (Ra) per la presentazione del libro di Andrea “Professione Cantante”.

Nel 2020 Il concerto di Michele Fenati a Ladispoli (Roma) vede l’autorevole presenza di S.E l’ambasciatrice della Repubblica di Armenia Tsovinar Hambardzumyan, che ne introduce la performance, con una suggestiva presentazione. Nello stesso anno scrive il brano “E la gente si chiuse in casa” con promozione sui social per raccogliere fondi per l’ospedale Covid di Lugo di Romagna (Ra).

Nel 2021 prende il via il tour estivo in Italia con oltre 40 concerti, mentre due brani, di vecchie produzioni discografiche entrano nelle classifiche di vendita di Itunes in Olanda e negli Stati Uniti. Contemporaneamente iniziano le registrazioni per il nuovo album in uscita nel 2022. Il 19 novembre 2021 esce il primo singolo con video del nuovo album, “Il mio nome è Aurelio”, dedicato al Maestro Secondo Casadei e al suo capolavoro “Romagna mia”.

Il brano raggiunge la 34° posizione nella classifica di gradimento delle radio private italiane. Il 20 maggio 2022 esce il secondo singolo che anticipa l’album, “Mille Volte Buona Notte”, trasmesso da tantissime radio private e che in brevissimo tempo supera i 50.000 streaming su Spotify, seguito dopo un mese dal video.

Anche il 2022 è un anno pieno di concerti live per Michele Fenati sempre in formazione acustica (voce, chitarra, pianoforte, violino e violoncello). A ottobre è prevista l’uscita del nuovo album, con tutti brani scritti dal cantautore.
