LUCIANO MACCHIA CROONER: "L'estate che va" è il nuovo album del trombonista e crooner ispirato dalla Basilicata e dall’infanzia

 Nove tracce che ripercorrono esperienze, passioni e desideri, scritte riadattando una vecchia tastiera 

Release album - 24 settembre 

«Tutte le canzoni fanno parte di una storia, questa è la mia». Questo è l’incipit de “L’estate che va” nuovo album di Luciano Macchia Crooner che dichiara subito una certa inclinazione autobiografica del trombonista e cantante lucano, milanese d’adozione e racconta, quasi come fosse un libro da sfogliare, la nascita di un percorso. 

Il primo capitolo potrebbe essere questo: 

«Basilicata, era l'estate del 2020, memorabile! Messo a letto i bambini, non rimane che il triste zapping mediatico. La mattina prendo coraggio e tiro fuori la mia prima tastiera. I miei genitori la comprarono a rate, mi ricordo ancora il prezzo, 350 mila lire. Non si accende, prendo la macchina e corro al negozio di strumenti musicali. 

• Arrivo. 

Dice il proprietario, che inorridisce solo a vederla, senza sapere che me l'aveva venduta circa trent’anni prima.

Taccio.

Mi propone nuovi oggetti. 

Desisto.

Alla fine trova l'alimentatore, la tastiera rinviene e prende coraggio, emette di nuovo suoni!». 

Con quella vecchia tastiera, riadattata per essere collegata ad un computer Luciano Macchia torna a casa letteralmente rinnovato nello spirito e la notte prova, riprova, collegando cavi e testando programmi per poter utilizzare quello strumento per dare vita a qualcosa di nuovo, con la voglia di ritornare a percorrere quei primi passi avviati da ragazzo sulla strada della musica. In poco tempo da quell’idea raccoglie materiale, idee, ispirazione e nuove canzoni cominciano a nascere. È questa la genesi di “L’estate che va”, una raccolta di nove brani che parlano di vita, infanzia, passione e amicizia. 

Registrato e mixato al Mai Tai Studio di Milano nel disco suonano: Raffaele Kohler alla tromba, compagno di avventure e disavventure da almeno un ventennio, Elio Marrapodi alla chitarra, il nipotino dal funk facile, Giovanni Doneda al basso, per gli amici el niño, il piccolo grande musicista, Nicholas Celeghin alla batteria, l'adrenalina allo stato puro, Gianluca Mancini, alle tastiere e ai cori, il ragazzo con lo ska nel sangue, Feyzi Brera agli archi, il “vecchio” amico di conservatorio e Patrick Celeghin alle percussioni, il “papà” del groove.

Il viaggio di ritorno alla grande metropoli dopo l'estate appena conclusa. Malinconia e allo stesso tempo voglia di rientrare alla “normalità”. Una storia d'amore iniziata e finita durante la vacanza estiva

Un brano strumentale che vuol essere di buon auspicio per il prossimo capodanno, magari in Basilicata! Composto originariamente con la fisarmonica, il primo strumento suonato da Luciano Macchia  è stato riadattato  per i fiati per dare il giusto sound ska di cui necessitava.

Un racconto della prima convivenza e i primi segnali di irrequietezza. La condivisione degli spazi e dei pensieri all'inizio di una convivenza a volte possono essere traumatizzanti. 

Il disegnatore di algoritmi 

Dedica personale a tutti coloro che disegnano algoritmi e credono di essere anche un po' artisti. Si può  pensare di vivere senza o quantomeno ignorando l'algoritmo della rete? Rispondo «non so!».

Brano scritto a 4 mani sul testo del prof alla chitarra Gianluca Grossi che lo descrive cosi: «Riferimento a “Lungo la via incantata”, un libro di William Blacker, la storia di un inglese che si innamora della cultura rom, e in particolare di una ragazza casinista e incasinata». 

Apa 

Razvan ha portato un po' di Romania in Italia, Apa è la prima parola pronunciata da mio figlio. Questa è una mia dedica strumentale alla Romania, “apă in rumeno significa “acqua”. 

Io non mi fido 

Nient'altro che un elenco “carosoniano” di tutte le cose che non mi ispirano fiducia. Non solo persone, situazioni ma anche oggetti. Brano composto di getto dal sound funky, suggerito dal nipotino Elio Marrapodi. 

Ti parlo

Dedicato ad una persona che non è più tra noi. È forse il brano che si scosta maggiormente dal sound generale. È  l'unico ad essere stato composto più di un decennio fa, proprio dopo la scomparsa di una cara persona. 

Il circo della verità 

Canzone che prende spunto da un lamento funebre lucano che cerca di descrivere il mondo degli artisti, sempre alla ricerca di ingaggi e visibilità. Il testo è scritto insieme a Elio Marrapodi, che nella versione live registrata nel 2019 ha messo anche la voce.

Luciano Macchia è trombonista, crooner e conduttore radiofonico. Nel 2017, dopo una lunga carriera che va dalla musica classica (trombone aggiunto al Teatro alla Scala e primo trombone dell'Orchestra Sinfonica Friuli Venezia Giulia) al pop-rock (fonda con Raffaele Kohler la band milanese Ottavo Richter e nel contempo incide dischi e partecipa a tournée con Afterhours, Dente, Niccolò Fabi, Vinicio Capossela, Banda Osiris), incide il suo primo album da crooner “TWIST O ROCK AMMERICANO”. Nel 2019 esce il singolo “La banda”, una fotografia delle emozioni ritrovate durante la sfilata di una banda di paese. Nel maggio 2020 pubblica il disco “Live in Milano”, registrato durante un concerto tenuto a Milano nel settembre 2019. 

Durante il primo lockdown del 2020 esce con il singolo “Al mare ci vado da solo” , canzone che è entrata nella classifica  TOP 100  ESTATE DELLA INDIE MUSIC LIKE del MEI 2020.

Nel lockdown del 2021  compone la musica per gli endecasillabi del prof alla chitarra Gianluca Grossi dando vita alla canzone “Notti di spettri”.

Luciano Macchia è anche docente di trombone presso il Conservatorio di Pavia, Come da buona tradizione “crooner”, l’artista ripropone vecchi successi della canzone italiana, alternati da brani originali e brani tradizionali, tutto in chiave ska / rocksteady.

LUCA FOGLIATI “Vertigine” è il primo singolo estratto dall’album di prossima uscita del cantautore astigiano

  Attraverso atmosfere rock anni ‘80, il brano vuole essere un invito al non rimanere statici, passivi degli eventi, bensì essere i protagonisti attivi della nostra vita e delle nostre decisioni. Vivere e non sopravvivere.

La percezione di “vertigine” viene utilizzata in questo brano per descrivere la sensazione di paura che si può avvertire nel “mettersi in gioco e prendere il volo” e di non riuscire pertanto ad avere spirito di iniziativa, soprattutto in un contesto di attualità sempre più in decadenza. Rivestono un ruolo fondamentale quindi quelle persone importanti che sono pilastro della nostra vita.

È a loro che rivolgiamo la nostra richiesta di aiuto per infonderci quel coraggio necessario a lasciare da parte le nostre paure e spiccare finalmente il volo, con la consapevolezza che ci resteranno vicini a prescindere dal risultato.

Il cantautore Luca Fogliati nasce ad Asti il 5 maggio del 1991. Il suo è un rock italiano sincero, elegante, profondo con un bouquet di influenze e atmosfere che ricordano il meglio della musica italiana con la quale è cresciuto. All'età di 12 anni inizia a scrivere canzoni e impara, con impegno studio e perseveranza, a vivere sui palchi insieme a Tribute band e al gruppo “I Volume” di cui è fondatore e frontman.

 

Dal 2007 ad oggi si contano oltre 200 concerti.

Il primo riconoscimento arriva nel 2010 con il premio della critica all'Acanto Festival con “Sei distante”;

2011 finale del Contest Ligabue al CPM di Milano con “Vertigine”;

2015 arriva la prestigiosa finale al Concorso Senza Etichetta con “Chi non muore si rivede” presidente di giuria: Mogol;

2016, oltre a salire sul palco di Astimusica, viene assegnato il premio San Jorio Festival con “Il folle volo” presidente di giuria: Bungaro;

2018 esce il primo singolo “Selfie” prodotto dall'etichetta discografica Studiottanta-Fortuna Records di Massimo Visentin con video musicale a cura del regista e produttore Francesco Gallero Alloero;

2019 esce il secondo singolo “Chi non muore si rivede” prodotto dall'etichetta discografica Studiottanta-Fortuna Records di Massimo Visentin con video musicale diretto e realizzato dal regista e cantautore Stefano Zonca; semifinale del Contest musicale per il Concerto del primo maggio di Roma con il brano satirico “Selfie”;

2019 esce il primo singolo da solista "L'Equilibrista" prodotto dall'etichetta discografica  La Stanza Nascosta Records;

2020 arriva l'ambito premio nuovaclassifica.it con “Lo Specchio” al concorso nazionale e internazionale La Settima Nota.

 

Oggi Luca Fogliati ha maturato una sensibilità artistica e personale tale da prendere la decisione di realizzare il suo primo album da solista che uscirà il prossimo 3 ottobre.

 Un inno alla buona musica, quella che cerca di essere al di sopra della mediocrità dilagante con cui ci confrontiamo quotidianamente.

Attraverso le sonorità prog-rock che caratterizzano tutto l’album da cui è tratto il nuovo singolo di Beppe Cunico, il brano vuole essere un inno, non solo alla musica “vera”, ma anche a tutto il movimento underground e di tutta quella gente che si impegna per proporre musica autentica

Il disco da cui è estratto questo singolo è “Passion, Love, Heart & Soul”, album d’esordio da cantautore di Beppe Cunico. Le tematiche affrontate nel disco nascono da episodi di vita vissuta. Si parla dell’adolescenza ed i suoi problemi - l’anoressia su tutti - ma anche delle esperienze negative sviluppate dall’artista nell’industria musicale moderna. Vengono trattate poi le tematiche della corruzione, della menzogna, della disuguaglianza e dell’egoismo, che l’artista vede sempre più comuni nell’odierna società. Ma nonostante l’album tratti argomentazioni dure e spesso spigolose, questo resta un progetto dedicato all’amore, all’amicizia e alla passione, ovvero la vera benzina ha permesso all’autore di affrontare tutti i momenti difficili della propria vita.

Beppe Cunico è un cantautore, batterista e ingegnere del suono di Vicenza.

Appassionato di Prog-Rock fin da bambino grazie ad i vinili del fratello maggiore, il giovane musicista s’innamora della batteria. Le prime esperienze importanti arrivano con la sua seconda band, i “D’as Hirth”, dove registra nel 1984 il primo demo di tre canzoni al Magic Studio di Malo (Vicenza), seguiti da Gaetano Peron. Nel 1986 la band ha registrato all’Art Music Studio di Bassano del Grappa il primo Ep, sotto la direzione artistica di Carlo “Out” Casale e Stefano “Ciccio” Dal Col. Il brano estratto “Kalashnikov” ha riscosso un discreto successo, al punto di arrivare al quarto posto nella classifica di Stereonotte, storico programma di Radio Rai 1. Dopo poco la band ha deciso di sciogliersi, spingendo Beppe ad avvicinarsi al mondo della produzione, fino ad aprire il proprio studio di registrazione, l’X-Land studio a Zugliano (Vicenza). Il 26 aprile 2016, dopo esser rimasto folgorato da un concerto di Steven Wilson, Beppe ha deciso di scrivere un nuovo capitolo della propria storia musicale, decidendo di intraprendere la strada del cantautorato iniziando a prendere lezioni di chitarra. A settembre 2020 Beppe Cunico pubblica il suo primo singolo “Silent Heroes” anticipando l’album pubblicato a novembre 2020 “Passion, Love, Heart & Soul”. Il secondo singolo è “Unleash the beauty”, dopodiché è uscito “My life” come terzo singolo. E sono iniziati finalmente, i primi concerti, due show che hanno registrato il sold out e la partecipazione più che calorosa del pubblico presente.

Quando ho scritto questo pezzo vivevo in uno studio di registrazione a Milano: un periodo incredibile di disagio e creatività musicale.
