Chianni, among the hills surrounding Pisa, to learn the secrets of Tuscan cuisine

September among the hills surrounding Pisa in Tuscany to learn to eat and cook ethically, having fun, at the B&B Podere la Sterza at Chianni (Pisa)

Aim of the courses of Tuscan organic cuisine is above all to transmit appreciation for nature and the seasonal produce it offers. They are organised from September 2009 at the bed & breakfast, housed in an old and restored country house of podere La Sterza, at Chianni, on the hills in the province of Pisa.

When asked why precisely the month of September was chosen to start this project, Carlotta, the hostess and owner of the B&B, responds the following: “Our cuisine follows the seasons, and here, autumn especially is a great time of the year to taste all the products that this generous land has to offer: pore mushrooms, new olive oil, truffles, game, grapes.”

The program includes theory cooking lessons, tasting sessions at local farms of wine, cheese, salami, and theme dinners, prepared by the owners, and served in the hall of the villa for the guests and the course participants.
