When florence is your next destination

Florence is the city of art and it is considered one of the most characteristic place of our peninsula. Capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula.Site of a major artistic and cultural heritage, Florence is a city where the romance comes to life.Don’t you know what to visit in florence?I’ll show you:-The most famous square in Florence is Piazza della Signoria that we could consider a free sculputure exhibit and the political center of the city.Probably you’ve heard about this famous square even because there is a copy of the famous statue Michelangelo’s David.
- Then you can visit the Bell Tower in Duomo’s Square.
- Another famous attraction is Ponte Vecchio built in 1345, was Florence's first bridge across the Arno River and is the only surviving bridge from Florence's medieval days.
- Florence's most popular attraction is Duomo (cathedral), that was begun in 1296 and consecrated in 1436.
- The Uffizi area is famous for the well known Palazzo Strozzi, the biggest and most famous palace of Florence.Between the ancient Palazzo Antinori, Palazzo Rucellai and many suggestive churches such as Santa Trinita and San Pancrazio (now the Marino Marini Museum, an italian abstract artist), you’ll find the most interesting shopping area of the city.

- Florence's Archaeological Museum: housed in a palace with great Egyptian and Etruscan collections.

- Dante's House this is in the medieval section of the city and visiting a house of the famous Dante is amazing.

- The Church of San Lorenzo: it's the oldest religious structure in Florence. They say it was probably founded before year 400 and its art holdings include stuff by Donatello and Bronzino.Florence is famous for its exceptional artistic patrimony, glorious testimony to its secular civilization. Cimabue and Giotto, the fathers of Italian painting, lived here, along with Arnolfo and Andrea Pisano, reformists of architecture and sculpture; Brunelleschi, Donatello and Masaccio, founders of the Renaissance; Ghiberti and the Della Robbia; Filippo Lippi and l'Angelico;Every year thousands and thousands of tourists from all over the world, and of any age visit Florence but it’s well known that most of the accommodations in Florence are not affordable for anyone. That’s why it could be helpful to rent florence apartments. To rent an apartment in Florence is affordable especially for a group of people and it’s helpful because you have not time problems and you can go in and go out whenever you want.
