The Technological Seventies

The Seventies come back from a 2000 viewpoint, weavings of prints, colors and textiles. Ancient and modern techniques weave themselves in a perfect harmony. The new collection Maliparmi P/E 2012 purposes a series of combinations of styles, or better, of weavings – as well, after all, the collection’s name reminds –, in which the research, from every point of view, is a distinctive sign.
 

For example, vintage ties from the Seventies are reedited on the computer to give life to new abstract patterns , called “techno-ties”. They are geometric patterns with unexpected shapes, regular and beautiful. To define them, pastel colors in matching tones, from light green to peach rose blended to an ice grey, weavings of shapes and colors that don’t need of bright tones to draw attention to themselves.

Maliparmi clothing, and over all in this new summer collection, have soft and wearable shapes and lines, light and researchable textiles, as silk satin, silk twill and raffia, printed with original prints or hand geometric patterns, perfect in their irregular lines and their profiles.
