I just love the Rocky stories.

Not only because it's a great story but for a marketing point
of view we can actually learn something from them.

Rocky I:

Rocky was a nobody that did some boxing for amateur clubs
who got a try from Apollo Creed to win the title. He was hungry,
wanted to win and he fought a draw against Apollo Creed.

Rocky II:

Apollo was humiliated being almost beaten by a nobody and
offered a rematch. Rocky won and became world champion.

Rocky III:

Rocky was beaten by Clubber Lang. He lost the motivation and thought
it would be easy, later he teamed up with Apollo Creed who trained him
and got him motivated to fight Clubber Lang again and he won.

Once again he was the world champion.

Rocky IV:

The "russian" Ivan Drago (who is played by a Swedish actor by the way)
fought Apollo and killed him in the fight. Rocky was determined
to get revenge, trained hard and beat his physically superior opponent.

He defended the title.

Rocky V:

Rocky stopp boxing, lose of all his money and start training a douchebag
called Tommy Gunn (the idiot doesn't even know how to spell some words)
who later betrays him because he want to fight for the real title.

Rocky beats the crap out of him in a street fight and win. He may have lost
everything but he was still number one with the people.

Rocky VI:

Rocky's retired and in his 60ths when he is invited by the world champion.
In spite of Rocky being that old he fight with heart and it's a draw.

Still being the real champion.

The moral of the story:

Rocky went from nobody to champ by determination and willpower.
He was beating physically and technically superior opponents and the
last one when Rocky tells his son something about winning he says...

"it's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can
get hit and keep moving forward, that's how winning is done."

It's so true, especially when it comes to internet marketing.

If you have joined programs and failed in the past or if you tried and failed.

It's only when you give up that you truly fail.
