The micro Italian artisan brewery 32 Via dei birrai set in Pederobba (TV) has been recently awarded with the quality label "Houblon" by the Belgian HOP, that since 1998 has been joining producers of hops in Belgium. In 2009, the hops produced in the region of Poperinge, West Flanders Flemish town, received a certification of quality at the regional level and then the members of the association of hop farmers have decided to establish a prize, in this case an identifying mark of Belgian origin of the hops and the validity of the beer made, dedicated to beers craft from Belgium.
For the first time this year has been awarded an Italian company, 32 Via dei birrai, that produces many varieties of beer, which are handcrafted with the excellent Belgian hops: Curmi 32, 32 Bold, 32 Oppale, 32 Nectar, 32 Three + Two, 32 Nebra, 32 Admiral, 32 Atra. The quality logo "Houblon" ("hops" in French) is assigned by the producer of hops in Belgium because of the love and the professionalism with which the raw material "Belgian hops" is treated for the production of artisan beer, so as to obtain the best and all the nuances of color and flavor as possible.
The cultivation of hops and its use are, in fact, and could not be otherwise, the heart of the production but also the culture of brewing beer. In French culture refers to culture as well as culture. And this coincidence, overlap, happy confusion leads to a sense common to Belgian and Italian, regarding to the quality and value of creativity, and that 32 Via dei birrai has been able to express with respect, passion and love.
